Fuel Greatness

School breakfast can help your students be more attentive, improve behavior and help achieve higher test scores. YOU can help put a spotlight on the importance of school breakfast during Fuel Greatness. Take a fresh look at how breakfast is served up in your school. Alternatives like breakfast after the bell and grab-and-go can help remove the social stigma of school breakfast. Work with your students on a breakfast Play. Tell your story on social media! Share how breakfast fuels your school and use the hashtag #FuelGreatness on Facebook, Twitter Instagram. Plus, find out about exciting chances to win when you log in to your Dashboard and visit the Campaigns and Activities tab!

Program Advisor Corner

Jeff Arellano, Physical Education Teacher

Gardiner Elementary School in Wichita, KS

We have been a Touchdown School four years in a row. I work with my student team to come up with ideas they enjoy, and ways to make the ideas their own. The students spread the word around the school, and bring back ideas from other students. Students have also helped with the School Wellness Investigation to identify areas that we can focus on for the year to become a healthier school.

Program Advisors are the coaches of their Fuel Up to Play 60 teams and support students as they lead the charge for healthy change in their schools. Is there a Program Advisor at your school?
