Grade Level: Early Childhood
After children name the foods in a set of Food Models, they cover their eyes while one is removed then guess which one is missing.
Children will be able to:
Take turns having different children choose four Food Models, place them on the board and remove one as you and the other children guess which is missing.
Place 12 to 15 Food Models face down on a table. Have each child work with a partner to try to identify all the Food Models. Each child takes a turn picking a Food Model. If they can name it, they get to keep that card for their team. If they don't know the name, they put it back face down. Continue to play until all the Food Models have been identified.
