Research shows a connection between physical activity and brain activity. Not only does physical activity stimulate your brain, it can also help develop important skills like concentration and problem solving. So making sure all students get enough activity is really important.

This resource, developed from the GENYOUth Foundation’s full report, The Wellness Impact: Enhancing Academic Success through Healthy School Environments, can be used to present your case to school administrators, nutrition professionals and others in your school about why a school breakfast program is so important and how your school can increase access for all students.
This tool provides tips on how to publicize your program and its successes, both locally and with a wider audience.
Look for ways to keep this program going and build on it – the goal is to make real, long-term changes in students’ habits.
