Build Teams and Draft Key Players

Fuel Up to Play 60 is a team effort. And teams come in many forms! One of the most important things you can do to get started is to get students to join and encourage others in your school community to get involved and excited.

  • Individuals and small groups can be just as successful as larger teams. You can start with a core group and work from there.
  • Remember, when building a team, it is important to include both adults and students.
  • Involve students as leaders of and participants in Fuel Up to Play 60. Try to engage as many students as possible because that's how real change happens. Check out Who Can Help and How and draft key players to join your effort.

Youth Engagement

Fuel Up to Play 60 is about harnessing the energy and enthusiasm of youth, building partnerships between students and adults and working together for long-term change.
